Complete Bathroom Makeover Eliminates Mold and Brings Modern Style to Pearland

When our team arrived at this Pearland home, we found a bathroom in critical need of attention. Water damage and mold had taken hold of the ceiling—a telltale sign of long-standing moisture problems. The existing bathtub surround showed signs of age and wear, and the overall layout felt cramped and outdated. The homeowner was ready for a complete transformation: a fresh, clean bathroom with modern fixtures and, most importantly, a solution to the moisture and mold issues plaguing the space. EZ Bath was brought in to deliver not just an aesthetic upgrade, but a fully functional, healthy bathroom environment.

The Transformation

Our team began with complete demolition of the damaged ceiling, removing all affected materials and the old bathtub surround. This opened up the opportunity to address the root cause of the moisture problem and install proper ventilation. We framed out the new ceiling structure and installed fresh drywall, ensuring proper moisture barriers were in place to prevent future issues. The plumbing was carefully assessed and any necessary updates were made to accommodate the new layout and fixtures. We installed new framing around the tub area and prepared the walls for the new surround installation. Throughout the process, our team worked methodically to ensure all structural and mechanical systems were properly integrated before moving forward with finishes.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is now a bright, clean space that the homeowner can enjoy with confidence. A fresh white tile surround now encases the bathtub, creating a clean, spa-like aesthetic that's easy to maintain and keeps moisture contained. The new ceiling is pristine white drywall, free from any water damage or stains—a dramatic improvement from the mold-covered surface that greeted us at the start. The bathroom features polished chrome fixtures throughout, including an updated showerhead and trim kit that provide excellent water delivery and a contemporary look.

Storage areas are accessible, and the layout flows naturally from the toilet to the tub to the sink area.
