When our client first contacted EZ Bath, their Spring-area bathroom was showing its age. The space featured dated finishes, an older tub enclosure with worn framing, and inefficient layout that didn't maximize the room's potential. The homeowner envisioned a modern, clean bathroom with updated fixtures and a fresh aesthetic that would transform their daily routine. The Transformation

Our team began with a complete demolition, carefully removing the old bathtub surround, fixtures, and compromised flooring. The photos from this stage reveal significant structural work was needed—the subfloor had deteriorated and required reinforcement before we could proceed. We removed old plumbing connections and rerouted new lines to support the updated layout. The textured ceiling was also removed and replaced with fresh drywall for a cleaner appearance. This foundation work was critical to ensuring the longevity and quality of the finished space.

Once the foundation was solid, our installation team got to work. We installed a spacious walk-in shower with a modern fiberglass or acrylic base and sleek framing. The walls received fresh drywall and preparation for tile. We installed updated plumbing fixtures including a contemporary showerhead and hand-held spray system. New grab bars in a matte black finish were strategically placed for safety and style. The team also installed built-in niches in the shower walls—perfect for soap, shampoo, and accessories. A floating vanity-style shelf was added, creating a minimalist aesthetic while maintaining functionality.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is a study in modern simplicity and comfort. The shower features clean lines with a neutral color palette—soft whites and warm grays that create a calming atmosphere. The new fixtures, all in matte black hardware, provide a contemporary contrast and sophisticated touch. Natural light floods in from the transom-style window above, brightening the entire space and creating an airy feel. The walk-in shower layout is significantly more functional than the previous cramped setup, with ample room to move and relax.
