The original space featured an aging bathtub with dated plumbing fixtures, worn tile work, and cramped quarters that didn't meet the needs of their modern lifestyle. The Transformation

Our team began with a complete demolition of the existing bathroom. We carefully removed the old bathtub and surround, exposing the wall cavity behind—which revealed both the challenges and opportunities in the space. We removed old drywall and plumbing lines, then re-framed and waterproofed the walls to prepare for new construction. The bathtub enclosure required significant structural work, including new plumbing runs and proper drainage installation to support modern fixtures and ensure longevity.

Throughout the construction phase, we focused on both aesthetics and functionality. New plumbing was routed to accommodate the updated layout, and we installed proper ventilation by adding a ceiling exhaust vent with a clean circular trim ring. The walls were prepared with appropriate backing and moisture barriers before tiling began.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is a stunning transformation. Clean white subway tile now covers the tub surround in a classic brick pattern, creating a timeless backdrop. The shower features a modern dual-showerhead setup—a primary rain showerhead with a chrome finish positioned overhead, complemented by a handheld shower wand for added convenience and flexibility. A chrome grab bar provides safety and accessibility without compromising the sleek aesthetic.

The bathtub itself is a clean white acrylic unit that sits perfectly in the newly tiled enclosure. A gray niche shelf was installed in the wall for storage and display, adding both function and visual interest. The ceiling was finished with textured drywall that coordinates beautifully with the overall design. The flooring features neutral tile work that ties the space together cohesively.

Every detail was carefully selected and installed with precision—from the fixture finishes to the grout lines on the tile work. The bathroom now feels bright, open, and thoroughly modern.
