When our Coldspring clients first contacted EZ Bath, their bathroom told the story of a home that had outgrown its original fixtures. The existing setup featured a basic bathtub with a shower curtain rod, builder-grade vanity, and dated finishes that made the small space feel even more cramped. The homeowners envisioned a modern, spa-like retreat—one that would maximize functionality while creating a bright, clean aesthetic that felt like a true upgrade from the cramped layout they were living with.

The Transformation Begins

Our team started with a complete gut renovation, removing the old tub enclosure, vanity, and flooring to reveal the subfloor and framing underneath. This blank canvas allowed us to reimagine the entire layout. We reconfigured the plumbing and structural elements to make room for a spacious walk-in shower—a significant upgrade that required careful planning and precision work. The old bathtub-and-shower combo was completely removed, and we installed new supply lines and drain configurations to accommodate the frameless glass shower enclosure our clients desired. Every inch of wall space was carefully evaluated to ensure optimal flow and functionality in this previously underutilized bathroom.

The installation process required meticulous attention to detail. We installed new drywall, carefully waterproofed the shower area, and laid out a stunning marble-look tile pattern both on the walls and overhead. The white subway tile with clean grout lines was selected for the shower surround, while a warm wood-look tile flooring was installed throughout to create continuity with the rest of the home and provide durable, water-resistant coverage.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of spectacular. The centerpiece is the oversized walk-in shower with a frameless glass enclosure and brushed nickel hardware. The shower features marble-inspired porcelain tile with subtle gray veining that runs up the walls and dramatically across the ceiling, creating an upscale, finished look. Dual showerheads and a hand shower wand provide flexibility and luxury, while recessed lighting illuminates the entire space beautifully. The white subway tile creates crisp, clean lines throughout the shower area.

The newly installed vanity features soft-close cabinetry and contemporary fixtures, while the warm wood-tone flooring ties the entire design together. Recessed lighting, a modern light fixture, and the reflective surfaces throughout make the space feel bright and spacious. The layout now flows naturally from the entry to the vanity to the impressive walk-in shower, with ample space to move comfortably.
