When our clients reached out to EZ Bath, their Sugar Land bathroom needed a complete overhaul. The original shower was cramped and outdated, with basic fixtures and limited functionality. The Transformation

Our team began with comprehensive demolition, carefully removing the existing shower structure and fixtures. This revealed the underlying challenges: the original plumbing configuration needed significant rework to accommodate the new layout, and structural framing required adjustments to support the larger shower footprint. We removed old subflooring and exposed the foundation to properly install new drainage and plumbing lines. The blue painter's tape and protective measures visible in the photos show how we isolated the work area while protecting the rest of the home during this intensive phase.

Once the demolition was complete, our crew installed new plumbing infrastructure, including relocated drain lines and fresh supply connections visible in the foundation photos. The framing was reinforced to support the new tile work and heavy glass enclosure. We installed cement board throughout to create a moisture-resistant base for the tile installation, critical for long-term durability in a high-moisture environment like a shower.

The completed shower is a stunning transformation. The walk-in design features a spacious layout with a frameless glass enclosure and a sleek black metal frame that adds contemporary elegance. The floor showcases a beautiful aggregate tile in neutral gray tones with darker accents, creating visual interest while maintaining sophistication. The walls are finished in crisp white subway-style tiles that brighten the space and provide a clean, modern aesthetic.

The shower includes multiple functional features: a rainfall showerhead mounted on the ceiling for a luxurious experience, a hand-held shower on the wall, and strategically placed black metal grab bars for safety and style. A recessed niche provides convenient storage without cluttering the space. The fixtures in matte black complement the glass frame and create a cohesive, high-end look throughout.
