When our Houston client first contacted EZ Bath, their master bathroom was stuck in an earlier era—featuring a basic corner tub setup, minimal counter space, outdated tile work, and lighting that cast harsh shadows across dated vanity fixtures. The homeowner envisioned a modern, spa-like retreat with ample counter space, contemporary lighting, and high-end finishes that would transform their daily routine into a luxurious experience. They wanted a significant layout change that would maximize usable space and create visual impact through premium materials and smart design choices.

The Transformation

Our team began with complete demolition, removing the old tub-and-shower combination, dated cabinetry, and worn tile surfaces. We reconfigured the layout entirely—replacing the corner tub with a sleek, modern shower featuring a frameless glass enclosure and professional-grade fixtures. The plumbing was rerouted to accommodate a new double-vanity setup with significantly more countertop real estate. We also repositioned the window opening and updated all electrical work to accommodate new, layered lighting: recessed ceiling lights paired with striking illuminated mirror fixtures. The walls were prepared and reinforced for premium marble tile installation, both in the shower and throughout the space.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. A luxurious marble tile with subtle gray veining now covers the shower walls and extends across the bathroom, creating visual continuity and an upscale aesthetic. The walk-in shower features clean-lined black hardware and a frameless glass partition that maintains an open, airy feel while providing full function. The client selected a spacious double vanity with ample drawer storage and a soft gray finish that grounds the bright, white marble countertop. Two large illuminated circular mirrors with integrated LED lighting provide both beauty and practical task lighting for grooming.

Additional refinements include a contemporary black showerhead and fixtures, strategically placed recessed ceiling lighting for ambiance, and a frosted window treatment that provides privacy while maintaining natural light. The flooring complements the marble walls while offering practical durability. Every fixture and finish was chosen to create a cohesive, high-end spa experience—from the hardware selections to the tile layout patterns visible in the shower enclosure.
