When our clients in Tomball first met with the EZ Bath team, their master bathroom told two very different stories. On one side sat a beautiful, newly installed walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure and modern fixtures. But tucked away in a separate, cramped compartment was an outdated toilet room that felt disconnected and claustrophobic. The homeowners knew their bathroom needed cohesion, and more importantly, they wanted that isolated toilet space to feel like part of their spa-like retreat rather than an afterthought. They envisioned a complete transformation that would modernize the layout and create a seamless flow throughout the entire bathroom.

The Transformation

Our team got to work immediately, and the first phase was extensive demolition. We carefully removed the existing toilet enclosure walls and began structural work to reconfigure the space. The original framing was completely exposed, revealing dated plumbing that needed updating to meet modern code and efficiency standards. Water lines and drain lines were carefully repositioned to work with the new layout. The team installed fresh drywall in the ceiling—visible in one of our progress photos with the blue level marking the perfectly level installation—and began the meticulous process of rough-in plumbing and electrical work. New copper piping was run to ensure proper water pressure and temperature control throughout the updated space. Once the structural work was complete, we applied fresh drywall and prepared all surfaces for the finishing phase, including careful attention to ensuring proper slopes and drainage for the updated layout.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. The cramped, separated toilet room has been seamlessly integrated into the master bath, creating one cohesive, luxurious space. The toilet area now features fresh, neutral-toned walls with elegant chrome dual-handle fixtures mounted on solid backing. Warm wood-look vinyl plank flooring flows throughout the entire space, tying the bathroom together visually and providing durability and easy maintenance. The new layout allows natural light to flood through the large windows, and the open, connected design makes the bathroom feel significantly larger and more inviting than before. Every detail—from the precision installation of fixtures to the careful coordination of wall colors and finishes—was executed with the homeowner's vision of modern comfort and spa-like serenity in mind.
