Master Bath Makeover: Dual Vanity and Soaking Tub Installation in Magnolia

When our clients called EZ Bath, their master bathroom was stuck in an earlier era. The space featured a cramped single-sink vanity with builder-grade cabinetry, an outdated mirrored wall unit, and limited counter space. What they envisioned was a spa-like retreat with room for two people to get ready simultaneously, elegant finishes, and modern fixtures. They wanted their master bath to become a sanctuary—a place where they could start and end each day in style. Our team accepted the challenge to completely reimagine their Magnolia home's primary bathroom.

The Transformation

The demolition phase was extensive. We removed the original vanity, mirror, flooring, and shower fixtures to expose the bones of the room. The existing layout revealed opportunities: we could expand the counter space significantly by installing a custom dual-vanity configuration. We addressed plumbing infrastructure to accommodate two separate sink locations and rerouted lines to support the new spa-style soaking tub we had planned as the centerpiece. Careful structural work ensured that our new layout maximized functionality while maintaining the bathroom's architectural integrity. The flooring was completely removed to prepare for a striking new installation. New drywall was carefully finished to create a clean canvas for paint and tile work. Every element was coordinated to flow seamlessly from the planning phase through installation.

The Finished Result

The completed master bath is a testament to thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. A luxurious freestanding soaking tub now anchors the room, providing the spa experience our clients desired. The dual vanity—crafted in rich cherry wood tones—spans the wall and offers generous counter space in elegant granite with subtle veining. Two separate mirrors with arched tops and chrome accents frame each sink, creating a balanced, symmetrical aesthetic. Chrome fixtures and hardware add contemporary polish throughout.

The flooring showcases a sophisticated herringbone pattern in warm, light wood-tone tile that creates visual interest and guides the eye through the space. A decorative hexagonal tile border in neutral tones adds an upscale detail that elevates the overall design. Large windows flood the bathroom with natural light, and the soft wall color—a calming sage green—creates a serene atmosphere. The layout now accommodates two people comfortably, with each sink area functioning as an independent station.

This renovation transformed their master bathroom from a purely functional space into a luxurious retreat that reflects their lifestyle and design sensibilities. With ample counter space, dual vanities, a soaking tub, and high-end finishes throughout, our clients now enjoy a bathroom that serves their needs while providing the elegant, spa-like experience they dreamed of.
