When our clients called EZ Bath, their master bathroom was crying out for help. The original space featured dated fixtures, worn plumbing infrastructure, and a cramped layout that made the room feel smaller than it actually was. The homeowners envisioned a modern, spa-like retreat—complete with contemporary tilework, updated fixtures, and a functional layout that would transform their daily routine. They wanted a space that felt fresh, clean, and luxurious without sacrificing practicality.

The Transformation

Our demolition team got to work systematically removing the old fixtures and preparing the space for its new life. The existing bathtub surround came out, revealing the underlying wooden framing and dated plumbing that needed complete replacement. We carefully removed old tile, fixtures, and trim to expose the raw structure beneath. The plumbing work was extensive—new supply lines and drain configurations were installed to support the updated layout. Every inch of the bathroom was evaluated and optimized for the new design, ensuring proper slopes for drainage and modern code compliance.

Once the structure was ready, our installation team went to work. New tile flooring in a clean, neutral gray and white palette was carefully laid in a modern herringbone-style pattern that adds visual interest while maintaining the contemporary aesthetic. The shower enclosure received fresh glass panels with brushed metal framing—a sleek upgrade that opens up the space visually and makes cleaning a breeze. New plumbing fixtures were installed throughout, including an updated showerhead and shower controls with modern styling.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is a stunning transformation. The flooring features large-format tiles in soft gray tones with subtle texture variations, creating a sophisticated foundation that ties the entire space together. The shower enclosure now boasts frameless glass panels that showcase the updated tile work inside, making the bathroom feel larger and more open. The white subway tile wainscoting provides classic style while the fixture hardware in brushed nickel adds contemporary polish.

The window has been upgraded with frosted glass for privacy while maintaining natural light. The vanity area is clean and organized, with fresh cabinetry and adequate counter space for daily essentials. Soft, neutral colors dominate the palette—whites, grays, and soft blues—creating a serene, spa-like atmosphere that's both calming and timeless. Every detail from the modern light fixtures to the updated grooming areas has been carefully selected to create a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.
