When our Houston client first contacted EZ Bath, her master bathroom was stuck in the past. The space featured an old soaking tub positioned awkwardly in the room, dark tile work that made the bathroom feel cramped and dated, and plumbing fixtures that had seen better days. She envisioned a completely transformed space—one that felt modern, luxurious, and spa-like. She wanted a spacious walk-in shower with high-end finishes and a fresh color palette that would make her morning routine feel like a retreat rather than a chore.

The Transformation

Our team got to work demolishing the old layout. This wasn't just cosmetic—we completely gutted the bathroom to reconfigure the space. The old dark tile surround came out, along with outdated plumbing lines that needed repositioning. We removed the cramped shower and bathtub configuration to make room for something grander. This required careful planning to reroute plumbing for the new walk-in shower installation, including new drain lines and water supply connections visible in our mid-project photos. Once the substructure was ready, we installed new framing and reinforced the shower area to support the heavy glass enclosure and tile work that would follow.

The installation phase brought the vision to life. We installed an expansive frameless glass shower enclosure with multiple built-in shelving niches and premium brushed bronze fixtures. The shower walls were finished with beautiful white marble subway tile, creating a clean, spa-inspired look. The shower floor features a marble hexagon tile pattern that complements the overall design perfectly. Throughout the project, our team maintained precision with leveling tools and careful measurement to ensure every tile and fixture was perfectly positioned.

The Finished Result

The completed master bathroom is stunning. The focal point is the oversized walk-in shower with its gleaming frameless glass doors and marble subway tile walls. Chrome and brushed bronze fixtures provide elegant details, while the built-in niches offer practical storage without cluttering the visual space. Outside the shower, a soaking tub positioned near the large window provides the perfect spot for relaxation while enjoying natural light and views.

The flooring throughout features soft gray and white marble hexagon tiles that tie the bathroom together cohesively. The vanity area is anchored by a beautiful quartz countertop with a wide mirror providing ample lighting and reflection. The neutral color palette—whites, soft grays, and warm beige tones—creates a serene, hotel-like atmosphere that feels both timeless and contemporary.
