From Cramped Bathtub to Modern Walk-In Shower in Spring

When our client in Spring, Texas first contacted EZ Bath, their master bathroom was crying out for a complete overhaul. The aging bathtub setup was outdated and inefficient, with limited functionality and dated aesthetics that didn't match the rest of their home. The homeowner wanted a modern, spa-like shower experience with contemporary fixtures and a clean, streamlined design. They envisioned a space that felt larger, more luxurious, and better suited to their daily lifestyle.

The Transformation

Our team got to work demolishing the old bathtub installation and completely reconfiguring the bathroom layout. The first images show the extent of the work ahead—old concrete and tile needed to be carefully removed to make way for the new design. We carefully plumbed new water lines, installed proper drainage, and prepared the walls for the updated shower configuration. The wooden framing and structural adjustments visible in the middle photos demonstrate the precision required to create the spacious walk-in shower area the homeowner desired. Our team also ensured all plumbing connections were properly installed and tested before moving forward with finishing work.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. A large, modern walk-in shower now anchors the space, featuring clean lines and contemporary design elements. The shower enclosure includes sleek glass panels and a functional showerhead system mounted at an optimal height. The bathroom walls have been finished with fresh paint in soft, neutral tones that create a spa-like atmosphere. Crisp white wainscoting along the lower walls adds classic detail and visual interest, while maintaining that clean, modern aesthetic the homeowner wanted. The flooring is level and smooth throughout, creating seamless transitions from the bathroom entry to the shower area.

New light fixtures provide bright, even illumination, and the overall layout feels significantly more spacious than the original configuration. A matching door on the opposite wall completes the room's cohesive design.
