From Cramped Bathroom to Modern Master Bath Retreat in Tomball

When this Tomball homeowner reached out to EZ Bath, their bathroom was showing its age. The space featured an outdated bathtub and shower combination with a basic setup that felt cramped and uninviting. The fixtures were worn, the layout felt inefficient, and the overall aesthetic didn't match the quality of the rest of their home. The homeowner had a clear vision: they wanted a modern, spa-like bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, updated tile work, and a fresh design that would make this room a true sanctuary within their home.

The Transformation

Our team at EZ Bath got to work transforming this space from the ground up. The first phase involved careful demolition of the existing bathtub, shower surround, and outdated fixtures. We removed the old plumbing infrastructure to make way for a completely reimagined layout. The walls were prepped and waterproofed to ensure a long-lasting installation. Structural adjustments were made to accommodate the new, larger shower enclosure, which required repositioning plumbing lines and reinforcing the floor to support the new layout. The team also addressed ceiling work, including texture repairs in the upper bathroom area and precise installation of new exhaust ventilation.

Once the rough work was complete, our skilled installers began the detailed finishing work. White subway tile was carefully laid throughout the shower surround in clean, horizontal lines, creating a contemporary look that's both timeless and elegant. The shower floor features a striking dark patterned tile that adds visual interest and provides excellent traction. A custom glass shower enclosure with black metal framing was installed, creating a modern focal point that feels open and spacious while maintaining full functionality.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. The new walk-in shower features pristine white subway tile walls, a comfortable dark tile floor, and a frameless glass door with sleek black hardware that adds contemporary style. The shower includes a recessed niche for storage and a modern showerhead setup. Outside the shower, neutral ceramic tile flooring throughout the bathroom is both durable and easy to maintain. The toilet, fixtures, and overall layout are clean and modern, with soft blue accent walls that complement the white cabinetry and create a calming atmosphere.

The transformation is dramatic—what was once a dated, cramped bathroom is now a bright, modern space that feels spa-like and luxurious. The new layout maximizes functionality, the updated finishes are contemporary and timeless, and every detail reflects quality craftsmanship. The homeowner now has a beautiful bathroom that not only meets their daily needs but also serves as a peaceful retreat in their Tomball home. This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design, quality materials, and expert installation can completely revitalize a space.
