Complete Bathroom Renovation in Spring: From Worn to Wonderful

When our client in Spring, Texas first contacted EZ Bath, their bathroom was showing serious signs of age and wear. The space featured an older bathtub setup with mismatched fixtures, dated tile work, and walls that had accumulated years of moisture damage and wear patterns. The homeowner was ready for a complete transformation—one that would modernize the entire space while improving functionality and creating a fresh, clean aesthetic they could enjoy for years to come.

The Transformation

Our team began the project with a thorough demolition phase, carefully removing the old tub, fixtures, and compromised wall surfaces. The inspection revealed water damage to the wall framing above the tub area—a common issue in older bathrooms. We addressed this structural concern during the renovation, replacing damaged materials and ensuring proper moisture barriers were installed to prevent future problems. The plumbing was updated and repositioned to accommodate the new layout, with modern supply lines and drain work completed to current code standards.

Once the demolition and structural work were complete, our installation team began building the new bathroom. We installed fresh drywall throughout, with special attention to moisture-resistant materials in the tub/shower area. The electrical work was updated to include modern outlet placement and proper ventilation. New plumbing fixtures were carefully installed to ensure proper function and longevity.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is a dramatic improvement. The centerpiece is a clean, modern bathtub with a bright white finish, paired with a sleek chrome faucet and showerhead. The walls are finished with crisp white subway tile in a classic grid pattern—a timeless choice that creates a clean, spa-like atmosphere. The vanity sink area features modern chrome fixtures and contemporary styling that coordinates perfectly with the shower area.

The drywall finish above the tub surround is immaculate, with smooth, properly finished surfaces throughout. The wall-to-wall tile installation is perfectly aligned and grouted, creating clean lines and a professional appearance. The flooring transitions smoothly from the tile to other areas, and the overall layout now functions efficiently with properly positioned fixtures and excellent accessibility.

This Spring bathroom renovation successfully transformed an aging, water-damaged space into a modern, functional bathroom that our client can be proud of.
