From Cramped Shower to Spa-Like Oasis: A Complete Bathroom Transformation in Spring

When our clients in Spring, Texas reached out to EZ Bath, they were ready for a major change. Their existing bathroom featured an outdated shower enclosure with dated fixtures and limited functionality. The space felt cramped and worn, with fixtures that no longer matched the style they envisioned for their home. The Transformation

Our team got to work right away, starting with a complete demolition of the old shower system. We also had to address the base preparation, which required careful attention to ensure proper slope and drainage for the new shower pan. This groundwork is essential but often invisible in the final product, yet it's absolutely critical for a long-lasting installation.

Once the foundation was ready, we installed a new concrete shower pan with integrated drainage. The team then framed out the walls and prepared the surfaces for the final aesthetic elements. This stage required precision work to ensure everything was perfectly level and aligned before moving forward with the visible finishes.

The Finished Result

The transformation is stunning. The new shower features a frameless glass enclosure with sleek brushed nickel hardware that catches the light beautifully. The glass panels are crystal clear, giving the space an open, airy feel that makes the bathroom appear larger than before. Inside, we installed a modern showerhead system with a handheld option, mounted on brushed nickel fixtures that coordinate perfectly with the enclosure hardware.

The shower walls are finished with a subtle tile design in neutral tones that complements the modern aesthetic. The concrete shower pan is finished in a light gray with aggregate, providing excellent slip resistance while maintaining that contemporary look. A brushed nickel grab bar adds both safety and style to the space. The crisp white subway tile visible in the surrounding bathroom creates a clean, cohesive look that ties the entire space together.
