The worn tile work and underlying substrate were stripped away to expose the studs, allowing us to assess and upgrade the plumbing infrastructure. We ran new supply lines (visible as the blue and red pipes in our progress photos) and ensured proper drainage by installing new plumbing penetrations through the floor. This foundational work is critical to preventing future issues and ensuring the longevity of the installation.

Once the rough plumbing was in place, we began the meticulous process of preparing the shower enclosure for its new finish. The framing was reinforced, and we installed the substrate that would support the beautiful new tile installation. The team carefully measured and planned the tile layout to create visual interest and ensure proper water management within the shower.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. The new shower features large-format gray tile with a subtle texture and pattern that creates depth and visual interest. The tile work extends from the base of the shower up the walls, with a coordinating darker gray floor tile that ties the space together beautifully. A modern rainfall showerhead in brushed nickel sits prominently in the center of the installation, providing the spa-like experience our clients desired.

The shower enclosure now features clean-lined frameless glass panels that make the space feel open and bright. New lighting fixtures illuminate the area with a soft, welcoming glow.
