From Cramped Bathroom to Spa-Like Retreat in Seabrook

When the homeowner in Seabrook first contacted EZ Bath, they had a clear vision: transform their cramped, outdated bathroom into a modern, spa-like space. The original bathroom featured worn fixtures, limited storage, and an old bathtub configuration that no longer met their lifestyle needs. They wanted a spacious walk-in shower with contemporary styling, improved lighting, and a layout that would make better use of the available square footage. Our team at EZ Bath was excited to take on this complete bathroom renovation and bring their vision to life.

The Transformation

The first phase of the project involved complete demolition. We carefully removed the existing bathtub, old plumbing lines, and wall surfaces to create a blank canvas. The photos show the framing work that followed—our crew rebuilt the wall structure to accommodate the new walk-in shower configuration and repositioned plumbing for optimal functionality. We installed fresh insulation and new plumbing lines, including white PVC pipe visible in the progress photos, ensuring everything was up to current code and ready for the next phase. The structural changes allowed us to expand the shower footprint significantly, creating the spacious, modern feel our client desired.

Once the rough-in was complete, we moved into the finishing stages. New drywall was installed and finished, providing a smooth surface for tile installation. The yellow level visible in one of the progress photos shows the precision care our installers take to ensure every surface is perfectly plumb and level—essential for a professional-looking tile installation.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is stunning. The centerpiece is a gorgeous walk-in shower featuring a frameless glass enclosure with a sleek chrome finish. The shower walls are lined with warm, neutral-toned ceramic tile in a large-format layout, with an elegant decorative tile band adding visual interest. A spacious built-in bench on one side of the shower provides both functionality and luxury. The shower floor features a dark tile with excellent slip resistance, and a recessed niche is perfectly positioned for storing shower essentials.

The surrounding bathroom showcases crisp white subway tile on the lower walls with a complementary accent band of small mosaic tiles. The color palette throughout—warm beige, cream, and soft gray tones—creates a cohesive, calming atmosphere. Fresh paint in a soft blue-gray covers the upper walls, enhancing the spa-like ambiance. New lighting has been strategically placed to illuminate the space brightly and evenly, and updated fixtures throughout maintain the modern aesthetic.

This complete bathroom remodel transformed a dated, cramped space into a beautiful, functional retreat. The homeowner now has a luxurious walk-in shower that's both practical for daily use and indulgent enough to feel like a spa experience. The improved layout, modern fixtures, and high-quality tile work have increased both the functionality and value of their Seabrook home.
