From Cramped Soaking Tub to Luxurious Spa Bath in Spring, Texas

Our client in Spring, Texas came to EZ Bath with a vision: transform their outdated master bathroom into a modern spa-like retreat. The existing bathroom featured an aging, enclosed soaking tub with dated plumbing fixtures and limited storage. The vanity was cramped and the overall layout felt disconnected. Most importantly, the homeowner wanted a freestanding soaking tub that would become a focal point of relaxation, along with modern vanity storage, fresh aesthetics, and a completely updated floor plan. They knew it would take more than cosmetic updates—this project would require gutting the space and starting fresh.

The Transformation

Our team at EZ Bath began by completely demolishing the existing fixtures and layout. We removed the old enclosed tub, vanity, and flooring down to the subfloor. The demolition revealed the underlying structure and plumbing, which required significant updates to accommodate the new design. We relocated plumbing lines and roughed in new drainage to position the elegant freestanding tub as the centerpiece of the room. New studs were framed in to support the vanity and ensure proper support for all fixtures. The subfloor was prepared and leveled to ensure a solid foundation for the new flooring installation. Throughout the construction phase, our team carefully managed the work sequence—from framing and plumbing rough-in to drywall installation and finishing touches. The attention to detail during this phase ensured that every element would align perfectly in the finished space.

The Finished Result

The renovated bathroom is nothing short of stunning. A beautiful freestanding soaking tub in crisp white now anchors the room, inviting the homeowner to unwind. The tub features modern styling and clean lines that complement the refreshed space perfectly. Behind the tub, soft green walls create a calming backdrop that makes the room feel like a personal spa. A spacious wooden vanity with ample storage provides both functionality and warmth, topped with a light marble-look countertop. The vanity features traditional hardware and multiple drawers, offering plenty of room for daily essentials. New hardwood-look flooring with rich brown tones grounds the space and ties the design together. The flooring extends throughout the bathroom, creating visual continuity and easy maintenance. Chrome fixtures throughout provide modern finishing touches, and thoughtful lighting highlights the beauty of the new design. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, making the bathroom feel bright and airy.
