From Cramped Shower to Spa-Like Bathroom Oasis in Cypress

When our clients called EZ Bath, their Cypress bathroom was stuck in the past. A small, dated shower stall dominated the space, with limited storage and outdated fixtures that made the room feel cramped and uninviting. The homeowners had a clear vision: they wanted to transform this tired bathroom into a modern, luxurious retreat with quality materials and smart design. They dreamed of elegant marble finishes, improved storage solutions, and a spa-like atmosphere where they could truly relax. That's where EZ Bath came in.

The Transformation

Our team got to work immediately, beginning with a complete demolition of the existing shower enclosure and surrounding wall area. We carefully removed the old fixtures and plumbing, exposing the wall framing and insulation behind. This gave us the opportunity to assess the structural integrity of the space and plan our installation strategy. The demolition revealed the bones of the room—the studs, old insulation (R-13), and existing plumbing lines that would need to be repositioned to accommodate the new layout. We removed every trace of the cramped old shower, giving ourselves a blank canvas to work with. New drywall was installed to create smooth, even surfaces, and we carefully planned the placement of new plumbing lines to support modern fixtures and ensure proper water flow and drainage.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is nothing short of stunning. The focal point is a spacious walk-in shower enclosure with sleek glass doors and beautiful marble subway tile that covers the walls in an elegant pattern. The marble features soft gray veining that adds sophistication without overwhelming the space. The shower is generously proportioned, making it feel open and luxurious—a far cry from the cramped original stall.

Beyond the shower, the homeowners now enjoy a complete bathroom overhaul. The vanity is a beautiful cream-colored cabinet with ample storage drawers and cabinet space, topped with a spacious sink and contemporary hardware in brushed black. The mirror above stretches across the wall, amplifying light and making the space feel even larger. Fresh paint in soft green tones complements the marble tiling perfectly, creating a calming, spa-like atmosphere. The new lighting fixtures provide bright, even illumination throughout the room, and every detail—from the towel bars to the outlet placement—was thoughtfully installed for both function and aesthetics.

What was once a cramped, outdated bathroom has been completely reimagined as a serene sanctuary. The marble finishes provide timeless elegance, the expanded shower offers genuine comfort, and the improved storage makes daily routines effortless.
