When our client in Spring approached EZ Bath, she was ready for a complete bathroom overhaul. Her existing bathroom featured a dated brown tile tub surround, a basic vanity setup, and cramped quarters that felt outdated and uninspiring. She envisioned a bright, modern spa-like retreat with clean lines, elegant finishes, and a luxurious walk-in shower that would transform her daily routine. The vision was clear: out with the old, in with sophisticated marble tones and contemporary design.

The Transformation

Our team began with complete demolition, removing the old brown tile work, the existing tub and surround, vanity, and flooring. Once we cleared the space, we assessed the plumbing and structural requirements. The dramatic layout change involved relocating fixtures and installing new plumbing to accommodate a spacious walk-in shower in place of the traditional tub-shower combo. We also repositioned the vanity for better flow and functionality. The team installed new drywall, ran updated plumbing lines, and prepared the shower area with a sloped base and proper waterproofing to ensure longevity. Every detail was carefully planned to maximize the bathroom's footprint while creating an open, airy feel.

The Finished Result

The transformation is stunning. The new bathroom features a sophisticated walk-in shower with marble-look porcelain tile walls in soft gray and white tones, creating visual interest without overwhelming the space. The shower is framed with black aluminum framing, providing a modern architectural accent that grounds the design. A sleek black linear drain completes the contemporary aesthetic. The flooring throughout carries the marble theme with coordinating porcelain tile in matching gray and white hues—both practical and elegant.

The vanity is a masterpiece in itself: a clean-lined white cabinet base topped with a beautiful marble-look quartz countertop. The sink features modern black hardware that echoes the shower framing, creating cohesive design language throughout. Above the vanity sits an illuminated LED-framed mirror that provides functional task lighting and adds a spa-like ambiance. The bathroom walls are painted in soft white tones, and a recessed ceiling light provides bright, even illumination. Modern black sconces flank the mirror, completing the contemporary fixture package.
