When our client in Tomball first contacted EZ Bath, their master bathroom felt outdated and inefficient. The space featured a standard alcove bathtub positioned awkwardly in the room, paired with an older tile surround that lacked visual appeal. The homeowner wanted to modernize the bathroom while maximizing functionality and creating a spa-like retreat. They envisioned a spacious walk-in shower with contemporary finishes, updated flooring, and a layout that would make better use of their space. The Transformation

Our team began by completely demolishing the existing bathtub and surrounding tile work. This involved removing the old plumbing fixtures, rerouting water lines, and reconfiguring the bathroom layout to accommodate the new walk-in shower. A matching travertine tile threshold transitions smoothly from the bathroom floor into the shower space. The shower is equipped with modern fixtures including an overhead rain showerhead and a convenient hand-held wand, both finished in brushed nickel to match the glass enclosure hardware.

Beyond the shower, the bathroom flooring now features warm, neutral travertine tile throughout, creating a cohesive design that ties the entire space together. The existing soaking tub was retained and beautifully integrated into the new layout, positioned to complement rather than compete with the new shower. The wall tiling extends elegantly around the bathtub area, maintaining visual continuity. Recessed lighting and a window with plantation shutters provide both ambient and natural light, while the neutral color palette of taupes and warm beiges creates a serene, spa-like atmosphere.
