From Cramped Bathroom to Spa-Like Sanctuary: A Complete Houston Remodel

When our clients first contacted EZ Bath, they were ready for a major change. Their outdated bathroom featured cramped quarters, an aging vanity setup, and dated fixtures that had seen better days. The space lacked the modern aesthetic and functionality they desired for their Houston home. They envisioned a bright, contemporary bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower, updated vanity, and a clean, spa-like atmosphere. The Transformation

Our team got to work with a complete gut renovation. We removed the old vanity cabinetry, dated plumbing fixtures, and the existing shower enclosure. The demolition phase revealed the bones of the space, and we saw an opportunity to reconfigure the layout for better flow and functionality. We relocated plumbing lines to accommodate a larger, more luxurious walk-in shower and repositioned the vanity area for improved storage and accessibility. New electrical work was installed to support modern lighting fixtures, including recessed ceiling lights and task lighting over the vanity.

Once the structural work was complete, we installed fresh drywall and prepared the space for finishes. The tile work was meticulous—we installed crisp white subway tile throughout the shower surround and coordinating tile on the floors and vanity walls. A sleek black bench was built into the shower area, providing both function and contemporary style. The shower enclosure features frameless glass doors, giving the space an open, airy feel.

The Finished Result

The completed bathroom is a stunning transformation. The focal point is the spacious walk-in shower with white subway tile walls, a rainfall showerhead mounted on the ceiling, and a handheld shower option on one wall. The black shower pan and matching built-in bench create a striking contrast against the bright tile. Dual black niches hold toiletries, maintaining the clean aesthetic.

The vanity area features fresh white cabinetry with ample storage, topped with a sleek black countertop that echoes the shower design elements. A new white toilet completes the fresh, contemporary look. Neutral tile flooring ties the space together beautifully. The window provides natural light, while recessed ceiling fixtures ensure excellent task lighting throughout the day and evening.
