This second-floor remodel replaced a bathtub with a walk-in shower featuring a custom Onyx base in Vacation, Glacier Onyx surrounds, and a tiled accent wall. A new closet with double doors and shelving maximized storage, while Champagne Bronze fixtures and frameless glass gave the space a modern, upscale finish.
Carrie’s project was more than a simple bathroom remodel — it was an opportunity to blend two worlds of style into one cohesive design. She wanted the durability and seamless elegance of Onyx for most of the shower while incorporating a tiled accent wall for texture and visual interest.
Her goal was to replace her outdated bathtub with a spacious, low-maintenance walk-in shower that also made better use of the adjoining space. By removing the tub, reconfiguring the layout, and even converting part of the area into a closet, Carrie could create a functional, spa-like retreat with storage to match.
