First-floor tub-to-shower conversion featuring a Sandbar base, Sandalwood walls, Henna Onyx recessed caddy and seat, Venetian Bronze Delta fixtures, grab bars for safety, and a sliding glass enclosure.

Customer Vision

Debbie and David wanted to upgrade their outdated tub into a modern, elegant shower that would offer both style and function. They envisioned a warm, natural look that blended sand tones with deep, rich accents, along with premium fixtures and built-in storage.

They selected a Sandbar shower base with smooth Sandalwood wall surrounds for a clean, neutral foundation. To add contrast and character, they incorporated Henna Onyx accessories including a recessed caddy and extended corner seat. Safety and accessibility were also a priority, with strategically placed grab bars and a handheld shower system in Venetian Bronze.

Scope of Work

Phase 1 – Tub-to-Shower Conversion

  • House coverings and job site protection

  • Full demolition of existing tub/shower area

  • Plumbing of supply lines and drain (including drain move and drain size increase)

  • Installation of 60″ x 32″ Sandbar shower base, smooth finish, right drain

  • Installation of Sandalwood smooth wall surrounds

  • Installation of Henna Onyx wide recessed caddy

  • Installation of Henna Onyx Liberty extended corner seat (24 3/8” x 13 3/8”)

  • Installation of grab bars:

    • 24” angled grab bar toward the seat in Oil Rubbed Bronze

    • 18” vertical grab bar in Venetian Bronze on left wall edge

  • Installation of Delta In2uition Venetian Bronze shower system with handheld and valve trim kit

  • Installation of sliding glass enclosure (oil rubbed bronze with clear glass, 60” x 76”)

  • Protective coating applied to interior of glass enclosure

Materials & Protection

  • Haul-away of demolition debris

  • No-charge correction of rot, mold, or bad insulation within the work area
